RemaDays Warsaw 2018 – Summary of the 14th edition of the International Advertising and Printing Trade Fair

The 14th edition of the International Advertising and Printing Fair RemaDays Warsaw has already finished. Once again, it was confirmed that this is an important date in the fair calendar for the advertising and printing industry. In this year’s event, a record number of 811 exhibitors and 20,800 professional visitors from 52 countries attended.

For the 14th time, the capital of Poland hosted participants of RemaDays Warsaw and opinions are consistent as it was a very successful event. This is reflected by the numbers confirming expansion of the exhibition. In an area of 35,000 m2, 811 suppliers from 26 countries showed their offers. They presented thousands of newest products and latest technological solutions. Once again, this year’s edition of the exhibition proved to be an international event. This is demonstrated by the number of foreign visitors who attended the exhibition, coming up to nearly 3,000 people. In the exhibitors’ opinion, the highest quality of RemaDays Warsaw 2018 fair is confirmed by the attendance of dependable, professional and truly interested visitors from Poland and abroad.

Free transportation was available for visitors entering Warsaw; they could use free buses which picked them up every 15 minutes from the Chopin Airport or the Central Railway Station. To ensure the comfort of the visitors, RemaDays provided two professionally prepared areas known as Relax Zones, where each guest could have a good coffee and surf the net. Restaurant outlets, cafes and the chillout zone were also very popular. The total area of these places was over 2,000 m2.

Visitors to the fair could improve their competences, knowledge and skills thanks to the RemaCongress lectures. The multiple Olympic champion, Robert Korzeniowski, gen. Mieczysław Bieniek and the film and theatre actor, Wojciech Malajkat, honoured the congress with their attendance. Free lectures also captured the audience attention. Specialists in the advertising and printing industry held the workshops. Marketing, sales, graphics, e-commerce were just some of the dozens of lectures held as part of the lecture cycle.

RemaDays also held great excitement for the winners of contest organized for many years during the fair. Already at the start we met the winners of the Korona Reklamy (Crown of Advertising) contest. The best companies were awarded according to the following industrial sectors – Producers of promotional gifts, Importers of promotional gifts, Out&Indoor and Technology. On the same day the Prizes for Innovations were also presented. The jury awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for the most innovative solutions, machines and devices in 2018. LIST OF AWARDS

On the second day of the exhibition, Paweł Rogowski experienced a moment of happiness when his business card was drawn in the visitors’ lottery. This time, the winner left the capital with a prize of PLN 6,000 to be spent at one of Decathlon stores.

At the end of RemaDays Warsaw 2018, the last fair contests were settled. The best catalogues, gadgets and POS of the year were awarded during the Business Breakfast. For two days, visitors to one of the largest advertising and printing fairs could choose the most distinctive catalogues and the most interesting advertising products. The results announcement of the contest Gifts of the Year, Catalogue of the Year and POS of the Year involved the partners of the programme Solid Work in Business. The following companies reached for the most prestigious gold medals: A.S.S.-3, Badge4U and Promostars. However, the following items were regarded as the best products in the following categories: Top FUN and Top IDEA category – infobands for children from Siband.PL, the Top DESIGN category – Hub with USB 3.0 connectors from Wilk Elektronik S.A. According to the visitors, the best stands and displays were presented by the following companies: Dago Display, TPP and Usables GMBH.

The 14th edition of the RemaDays Advertising and Printing Fair is over. Another successful fair showed that the broadly understood advertising and printing industry is constantly growing.
